Editorial by Timothy Gesinski

I got a surprise phone call from one of my brothers last week. He was standing in Washington D.C., along with many others at the March for Life. His family had made the trip from Florida with a church group, and were joining with Americans from all over the country to show support for the lives of the unborn.

After the call, I got to thinking if the March for Life really did any good. How much more effective would it be if all the people who traveled to Washington, instead went to their nearest abortion mill, and stood in prayer, and offered counseling and help to the mothers who were going to kill their children. I talked this over with my wife, who, with her usual insight, pointed out the good that did come from the march.

The nation did see that abortion is viewed as a wrong and evil event by many millions of their neighbors. The march will also motivate others to take a stand for the unborn. It will clarify for some that abortion is, indeed, murder. It may also motivate some to head to the abortion mills to stand along side the faithful few, who see their calling from God to do whatever they can to save the lives of the innocent children being slaughtered, so their parents can live a more convenient life.
